Description

Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet is an anti-allergic medicine. It is used to treat common allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy throat, itchy/watery eyes, and skin rash. It works by blocking the action of a chemical substance that causes allergic symptoms and provides relief from allergies. Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet may cause some side effects such as sleepiness, diarrhoea, nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, headache, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe. Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food. Finish your entire course of treatment with this medicine, even if the condition gets better after taking a few doses as abrupt stopping may recur the symptoms. If you still feel unwell even after completing your treatment course, inform your doctor. Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet is not recommended in children below 6 years of age. This medicine may interact with other medications. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking and also about any medical condition that you have. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

What is it prescribed for?

Allergic Rhinitis

Allergic rhinitis is a common condition that occurs due to swelling inside the nose as a response of your immune system to external factors like allergens. It is commonly called hay fever. The usual signs and symptoms of allergic rhinitis are stuffy or runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, sneezing and sometimes swelling in the eyes. Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet is used in treating symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

Chronic Urticaria

Chronic Urticaria, also known as hives, is an allergic skin reaction that occurs in response to certain chemicals, food, or medicines. Symptoms include itchy, red, or skin-coloured bumps on your skin surface, often associated with swelling. Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet works by blocking the action of histamine, the chemical responsible for allergy, and helps in treating the symptoms.

Allergy

General warnings

Urinary retention
