Description

Ponol 80 MG Tablet Tr is a medicine is used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and arrhythmia (irregular heart rhythm). It is also used to prevent angina (chest pain that radiates to arms, neck, and back), and to improve survival after a heart attack. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and slowing heart rate. Thus, it allows the blood to flow more easily and helps to control high blood pressure. Ponol 80 MG Tablet Tr is also used to treat phaeochromocytoma (tumour of a small gland near the kidneys), tremors (uncontrolled trembling or shaking movements in one or more parts of your body), and hypertrophic subaortic stenosis (a heart condition caused due to abnormal thickening of heart muscle) and migraine (severe, one-sided headaches). Ponol 80 MG Tablet Tr is available on prescription as tablets, capsules, sustained-release tablets/capsules, extended-release capsules, and injections. Ponol 80 MG Tablet Tr shows side effects like tiredness, unusual weakness, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects are temporary and subside with time. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor. Ponol 80 MG Tablet Tr oral forms should be taken on an empty stomach. Your doctor will determine the dose and duration of treatment based on your clinical condition. Avoid the discontinuation of Ponol 80 MG Tablet Tr without consulting your doctor, as it may worsen your condition. Angina pectoris is a heart condition characterised by pain in the chest radiating to the arms, neck, and back. It is caused by reduced blood flow to your heart. Ponol 80 MG Tablet Tr widens the blood vessels in your body and improves the blood flow, thus it decreases the frequency of chest pain.

Migraine

Migraine is a headache characterised by a throbbing pain that is usually accompanied by nausea, sensitivity to light and sound. Ponol 80 MG Tablet Tr is used for the prevention of migraine headaches. However, the efficacy of this medicine in relieving migraine headaches is unknown.
