Description

Neo Clobyte-GM Cream is a combination medicine that consists of clobetasol, miconazole and neomycin. It is used for the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections of the skin. It works by killing or stopping the growth of microorganisms that causes infection. It provides relief from symptoms of infection like swelling, redness etc. Neo Clobyte-GM Cream causes some side effects which include itching, dryness, redness, and burning sensation at the site of application. Seek medical help if you experience any symptoms of an allergic reaction like rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath. Your doctor may perform a patch test before starting treatment with this cream as it can cause skin allergy. Neo Clobyte-GM Cream can be applied as a thin layer on the affected areas of the skin with clean and dry hands. This cream is meant for external use only. Avoid direct contact with your eyes, nose, mouth, or other smooth muscles, in case of accidental contact wash immediately with water. Neo Clobyte-GM Cream is not recommended for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. It is recommended to take this antibiotic cream only with the doctor's prescription. What is it prescribed for?

Bacterial skin infections

Bacteria enters into the skin through cuts or scratches causing bacterial skin infections such as cellulitis, impetigo ( a contagious skin infection that mainly affects infants and young children), folliculitis (a skin condition in which hair follicles become swollen) that are characterised by redness, warmth, swelling, itching and irritation of the skin. Neo Clobyte-GM Cream is used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections.

Eczema

Eczema is a condition that causes itchiness, inflammation, swelling and cracking of the skin. Neo Clobyte-GM Cream is used to provide relief from these symptoms.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that results in dry, scaly and itchy skin. The skin becomes dry and is prone to various microbial infections. Hence it is a chronic skin condition and needs immediate medical attention. This condition can develop in any part of the skin on the body but rarely spreads to nails and bones. It is triggered by non-resolving microbial skin infections, stress and long-term exposure to cold and dehydration. Neo Clobyte-GM Cream is used to treat psoriasis.

Fungal skin infections

Skin fungal infections usually occur on the skin due to the spread of the fungus/yeast.
