Uses of Movon 200 MG Tablet CR

What is it prescribed for?

Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis or joint condition. A joint is where two bones are fitted together. In healthy joints, a protective tissue called cartilage covers the ends of bones and cushions them so we move easily. When a joint develops OA, this cartilage breaks down, so joint bones begin to rub against one another. This can cause pain, stiffness, and make it difficult to walk, stand or perform other activities. Movon 200 MG Tablet CR is used to relieve pain and stiffness due to OA.

Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosis means the fusion of a joint. Spondylitis means swelling of one or more bones that form the spine. Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a type of arthritis that primarily affects the spine and causes some of the small bones in the spine to fuse. OA begin in the lower back spine and can increase up to the neck. It tends to occur between ages 17 and 45 and more common in men than women. Movon 200 MG Tablet CR is used to relieve stiffness and pain (especially in the lower back, hip, and pelvis) associated with ankylosing spondylitis.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) happens when your body's immune system attacks the lining of your joints and damages other parts of the body. RA is a symmetrical form of arthritis where the same joints on both sides of the body are affected. This helps to distinguish RA from osteoarthritis. Movon 200 MG Tablet CR is used to relieve swelling and pain in the joints due to RA.
