Description

Melano-TX Cream is a skin lightening medicine containing Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid, Arbutin, Mulberry Extract, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, and Vitamin E. It is used for the short-term treatment of moderate to severe melasma (a skin condition that causes appearance of dark, discoloured patches on the face). This medicine acts by brightening the skin and decreasing the production of melanin (skin pigment). Melano-TX Cream may rarely cause side effects like dryness, burning sensation, irritation, itching, or redness at the site of application. These side effects are self-limiting. However, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen, consult your doctor at the earliest. Melano-TX Cream is meant for use on the skin only. Wash and dry the affected area before application. Apply a thin layer of this medicine on the affected area as directed by your doctor. Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Rinse immediately with plenty of water in case of accidental contact. Melano-TX Cream should be avoided if you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in this formulation. Inform your doctor of any other topical medicines you may be using before starting treatment with this medication. Consult your doctor before using Melano-TX Cream if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

How it works

Tranexamic Acid and Mulberry extract protect your skin from UV radiation and reduce excess pigmentation. Kojic Acid is also an anti-pigmentation agent that suppresses the production of melanin, a pigment that makes your skin darker. Arbutin is a natural skin lightening agent that reduces the production of melanin and evens out the skin tone. Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate( Vitamin C derivative) and Vitamin E provide essential nutrients to the skin and prevent premature ageing of the skin. It also reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
