Description

Mefariv-T Tablet is a combination medicine that contains Mefenamic acid and Tranexamic acid. It is used to treat pain and heavy bleeding during menstruation. It prevents the breakdown of blood clots, which helps to reduce heavy menstrual flow. It also blocks the production of specific chemical substances responsible for causing pain. Mefariv-T Tablet shows side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, headache, heartburn (burning pain in your chest), diarrhoea, dizziness, muscle pain, and anaemia (low number of blood cells). Mefariv-T Tablet can be taken with or without food. It is recommended that you take it after food to avoid an upset stomach. It must be consumed as a whole tablet without crushing or breaking it. Inform your doctor if you observe any abnormalities in your menstrual cycle. Mefariv-T Tablet is effective when taken on the first day of your menstruation. Do not increase your dose or take it more frequently, or take it for a longer time than prescribed. Consult your doctor if your condition does not improve after two consecutive cycles. Mefariv-T Tablet has to be used with caution if you have any kidney problems, a history of convulsion or if have/had a blood clot(s). Inform your doctor about all these conditions and also if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.
