Description

Mahaflox LP Eye Drops is a combination of Loteprednol and Moxifloxacin. This medicine is used to treat bacterial eye infections. It is also effective in treating the symptoms of pain, redness, and/or swelling that may occur after an eye surgery. It works by killing the infection-causing bacteria and also reduces the redness and swelling associated with an infection. Mahaflox LP Eye Drops may cause side effects such as pain, discomfort, irritation, and dryness of the eye. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe. Mahaflox LP Eye Drops is meant to be used in your eyes only. It should be instilled into your eyes as prescribed by your doctor. You will start to feel better in a few days. However, continue taking the medicine for the prescribed duration. Skipping doses or not completing the full course of therapy may result in decreased effectiveness of the medicine or increased risk of re-infection that would be difficult to treat in the future. This medicine is effective only for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and not viruses or fungi. Mahaflox LP Eye Drops is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are applying any other medicines to your eyes or have any other eye problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
