Description
Loceryl Nail Lacquer is a topical anti-fungal medicine that consists of Amorolfine. It is used to treat fungal infections of fingernails and toenails. This infection is characterized by hard, thick, decolourised, and painful nails. This medicine treats fungal infections by preventing the growth of fungi and eventually killing them.
Loceryl Nail Lacquer has some side effects like broken brittle nails, skin redness, skin rash, skin irritation, etc., around the site of application. These side effects are mild and subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if they worsen or bother you for a long time. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it.
Loceryl Nail Lacquer is to be used in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area before application. Wash your hands before and after the application. Apply a thin layer of it and allow it to dry. This medicine is for external use only. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, mouth, and, open areas of your skin. Rinse with water immediately in case of accidental contact.
Loceryl Nail Lacquer is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age due to the lack of safety and efficacy data. Inform your doctor about all your skin and other medical conditions if any including all the medicines you are using.
