Description

Levo Anawin 0.5 % Injection Bupivacaine is an anaesthetic (a numbing agent) that is used to prevent or relieve pain during minor surgeries. This medicine temporarily numbs the part of the body where the surgery is performed. Levo Anawin 0.5 % Injection is also used to reduce the pain sensation during delivery to ease labour pain and discomfort. Levo Anawin 0.5 % Injection blocks the nerve that connects that particular body part or region to the brain. This prevents the transmission of pain signals. Your doctor will decide the dose based on your pain tolerability (maximum level of pain a person can tolerate), surgical procedure and clinical condition. This injection is administered only by a qualified healthcare practitioner, preferably an anesthesiologist. Levo Anawin 0.5 % Injection shows some common side effects like nausea, vomiting, tingling sensation and slow heartbeat. It may also cause dizziness, so do not indulge in work that requires high mental focus. Most of these side effects resolve with time. However, if any of these side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor at the earliest. Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to anaesthesias. Levo Anawin 0.5 % Injection is used during pregnancy to numb your labour pains, however, it is not recommended for use during early pregnancy. In nursing mothers, Bupivacaine can pass into breast milk in a very small amount and may not affect the baby. However, you should inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding. Before taking Bupivacaine, inform your doctor if you have any medical conditions of the heart, liver and kidney, or if you have low blood pressure and breathing difficulty. Also, keep your doctor informed about your current medical treatments.
