Description

Itaspor 100 MG Injection is an azole antifungal that is used for empiric therapy of febrile neutropenic patients with suspected fungal infections. It is also used to treat certain types of fungal infections in immunocompromised and non-immunocompromised patients.

What is it prescribed for?

Blastomycosis

This medicine is used in the treatment of blastomycosis, which is a fungal infection that can affect skin, bones, and joints caused by the fungus Blastomyces dermatitidis.

Histoplasmosis

This medicine is used in the treatment of Histoplasmosis, which is a fungal infection caused by Histoplasma capsulatum. This infection can affect the lungs and other parts of the body.

Invasive Aspergillosis

This medicine is used in the treatment of Invasive Aspergillosis which is a fungal infection caused by Aspergillus. The infection affects the lungs or the immune system.

Cryptococcal Meningitis

This medicine is used to treat meningitis, a rare infection that affects the delicate membranes called meninges that covers the brain and spinal cord, caused by a group of fungi of Cryptococcus strain.

Hearing loss

Neuropathy

Driving or operating machinery
