This medicine is used to maintain normal heartbeats in patients with a recent episode of atrial fibrillation, an irregular and rapid heart rate that causes poor blood flow.

This medicine is used to maintain normal heartbeats in patients with a recent episode of atrial flutter, abnormally rapid rhythm of the heart.

Proarrhythmia
