Description

Hydralaze 25 mg Tablet is an antihypertensive medicine used in the treatment of high blood pressure. It may also used for the treatment of severe congestive heart failure. While using this medicine, it is advised that you get up slowly from a sitting position to avoid falling due to dizziness.

General warnings

Systemic lupus erythematosus

Prolonged use of this medicine may increase the risk of systemic lupus erythematosus. The medicine should be discontinued under the doctor's supervision if the patient experiences any unusual reactions.

Bone marrow suppression

This medicine should be used in patients with blood-related disorders, since it may decrease the blood cell count of hemoglobin, red cell count, agranulocytosis, leukopenia, and purpura have been reported. Clinical monitoring blood counts should be considered for those patients at higher risk.

Use in children

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
