Description

Fintop-AF Cream is a topical anti-fungal medicine. It is used to treat fungal infections of nails and skin. This infection is characterized by hard, thick, decolourised, and painful nails. It also causes discoloured patches, red, itchy rashes between your fingers, toes, shoulders, folded areas of your skin, etc. This medicine treats fungal infections by preventing the growth of fungi and eventually killing it. Fintop-AF Cream has some side effects like skin redness, skin rash, skin irritation, etc., at the site of application. These side effects are mild and subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if they worsen or bother you for a long time. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Fintop-AF Cream is to be used in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area before application. Wash your hands before and after the application of this medicine. Apply a thin layer of it and allow it to dry. This medicine is for external use only. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, mouth, and, open areas of your skin. Rinse with water immediately in case of accidental contact. Fintop-AF Cream is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age due to the lack of safety and efficacy data. Inform your doctor about all your skin and other medical conditions if any including all the medicines you are using. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using this medicine.

What is it prescribed for?

Onychomycosis

Onychomycosis is a fungal infection that causes discolouration, thickness, pain, and separation of nails from the nail bed. Fintop-AF Cream is used to treat this condition.

Fungal skin infections

Fintop-AF Cream is used to treat different types of fungal infections on your skin as mentioned below: 1. Ringworm infection is a red, itchy, circular rash with clearer skin in the middle. It is called tinea manuum when found on hands and tinea pedis /athlete's foot when found on feet. 2. Cutaneous candidiasis is a red, itchy rash on the folds of your skin. This may spread to other parts of your body. It occurs in areas exposed to moisture for a longer time. 3. Pityriasis Versicolor is a small discoloured patch on your skin.
