Clotrin Ear Drops is a medicine composed of Clotrimazole and Lidocaine. It is used for the treatment of fungal infections in the ear. This medicine also relieves the ear pain caused due to the fungal infection. It works by reducing the growth of the fungi responsible for the infection.

A fungal ear infection is an infection of the ear caused due to fungal growth. It affects one, or occasionally both, of the ears. It mostly affects people who live in warm or tropical areas. Clotrin Ear Drops is used to treat fungal infections in the ear and also relieves the pain caused due to infections.
Swimmer's ear
A swimmer's ear is a redness or swelling, irritation, or infection of your outer ear canal. The ear canal is a tube that goes from the opening of the ear to the eardrum. Clotrin Ear Drops is used to treat the swimmer's ear by reducing the redness in the outer ear, warmth and pain.

Use Clotrin Ear Drops exactly as advised by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts than prescribed. Follow all the instructions given on the label/package insert.
Wash your hands properly before using the eye drops. Do not touch the tip of the bottle in order to avoid contamination of the medicine.
Cleanse and dry the ear canal thoroughly using a sterile cotton bud before the administration. Lie down with the affected ear up and instil the drops into the ear without touching the ear pinna.
After the administration, remain in the lying position for about five minutes to make sure the passage of drops into the ear canal.
Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after a few doses.
