Clocip 1% Lotion is an antifungal medicine used to treat fungal infections of your skin. It works by stopping the growth of the infection-causing fungi.
Clocip 1% Lotion may rarely cause rash, burning sensation, irritation, itching, redness, etc., at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe.
Clocip 1% Lotion is meant for external use only. Apply it to the affected part of your skin as directed by your doctor. Continue using this medicine for the prescribed duration to prevent the risk of relapse of the infection.

What is it prescribed for?
Fungal skin infections
Clocip 1% Lotion is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm (itchy, circular rash on your skin or scalp), athlete’s foot (itchy and scaly white patches on your toes and feet), fungal nappy rash (elevated red patches in the nappy region, especially in the skin folds around the groin and the thighs), and fungal sweat rash (red, itchy rash in warm and moist areas of your body). This medicine is also used to treat external thrush in women (the vaginal infection that may cause itching, burning, abnormal vaginal discharge) and men (redness, burning sensation around the head of the penis and under the foreskin that may be associated with a white discharge).

Use effective contraceptive methods
Clocip 1% Lotion may damage the rubber contraceptives (condoms or diaphragms) and thereby reduce their effectiveness. If you are using this medicine on the vulva or penis, it is recommended to use an alternative contraceptive method for at least five days after using this medicine.

Close the cover of the tube immediately after use to keep it clean and free from contamination. Do not wipe or rinse the tip of the tube.
Use Clocip 1% Lotion at around the same time daily for the ease of remembrance.
