Clindoxyl Once Daily Gel is a combination of Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide. It is used to treat acne, a common skin condition that occurs when the pores of your skin become clogged, causing blackheads, whiteheads, or pimples. This medicine stops the growth of microorganisms that cause acne. It also reduces painful lumps and clears the dirt and excess oil from your skin. Clindoxyl Once Daily Gel is generally safe for use. However, in some cases, you may experience redness, itching, stinging or burning sensation, dryness, and peeling of the skin at the site of application. These side effects are usually mild and subside with time. Consult your doctor if they persist or worsen. Avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it. Clindoxyl Once Daily Gel should be applied as directed by your doctor. Wash and dry the affected area. Apply a thin film of this medicine over the affected area and spread uniformly. Wash your hands before and after applying the medicine. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse thoroughly with water. Avoid scratching the affected skin. Use sunscreen before stepping out in the sun. Clindoxyl Once Daily Gel is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age due to the lack of safety and efficacy data.
