Description
Ambrolite ST Tablet is a combination of Theophylline, Ambroxol and Salbutamol. It is used for the treatment of breathing disorders like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (group of lung diseases that causes breathing difficulty). This medicine widens the airway tubes by relaxing the muscles surrounding them, making it easier to breathe. This medicine does not cure the disease but helps in managing the symptoms like coughing, wheezing, and feeling short of breath. Ambrolite ST Tablet shows side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, tremor, headache, and restlessness. These side effects are mostly temporary and get better after some time. Consult your doctor if these side effects are bothering you. Avoid performing any activity that requires mental focus like driving as this medicine can make you feel dizzy. Ambrolite ST Tablet can be taken with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. Drink plenty of water to avoid stomach discomfort. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of the medicine in your blood. Avoid the discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor as your symptoms could come back. Complete the whole treatment to see maximum benefits. While taking this medicine, do not smoke as this reduces the effects of Ambrolite ST Tablet. Ambrolite ST Tablet is not recommended if you have a known allergy to this medicine. Allergy

Missed Dose

Serum Uric acid test

How it works
Ambrolite ST Tablet is composed of Theophylline, Ambroxol and Salbutamol. Theophylline and Salbutamol relaxes the muscles in the airways and makes it easier to breathe. Ambroxol thins and loosens mucous (phlegm) in the airways making it easier to cough out. Thus, it promotes mucous clearance.
