Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of gastric ulceration due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Stevens-Johnson syndrome

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of Stevens-Johnson syndrome, which is a rare but serious disorder of the skin, due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Kidney Disease

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with end-stage kidney disease and creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. It is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age with an impaired kidney function.

Pregnancy

This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.

Breast-feeding

This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine. Your doctor may advise you to discontinue breastfeeding or to discontinue the drug based on your clinical condition.
General warnings

Gastric ulceration

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of gastric ulceration or any other gastrointestinal disorders due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

CNS Depression

This medicine may cause mild to moderate CNS depression, resulting in sleepiness, difficulty in concentrating, etc. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these side effects during treatment with this medicine.

Alcohol use

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients who consume alcohol on a regular basis due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.

Other Medicines

This medicine may increase the risk of sleepiness and impaired thinking when taken with medicines that have a sedative or tranquilizing effect. It is advised that you inform the doctor about all your current medicines including any herbs or supplements before beginning treatment with this medicine.

Urinary retention

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with spinal cord lesions or prostatic hyperplasia since it may increase the risk of urinary retention. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor immediately. Close monitoring of clinical condition, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Use in pediatrics

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 6 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

How it works
