Description
Amace-BP Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. Patients are advised to follow a strict exercise and diet regimen along with this medicine to get the best possible effect. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age.

Allergy

Angioedema

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors induced angioedema or hereditary angioedema due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Aliskiren

Coadministration of aliskiren and this combination medicine is not recommended due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. This risk is especially higher in the elderly population and in patients with diabetes and kidney diseases.

Pregnancy

General warnings

Hypotension

Use of this medicine may cause hypotension, especially when used in combination with other high blood pressure medicines such as diuretics. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments should be done based on the clinical condition.

Aliskiren

This medicine is not recommended for use in combination with aliskiren due to the increased risk of serious side effects. This risk is especially higher in diabetic patients. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be done under your doctor's supervision.

Hyperkalemia

Use of this medicine may increase the potassium levels in the blood (hyperkalemia). This may cause serious side effects such as fatal cardiac rhythm irregularities. It is advised to avoid potassium-rich foods (potatoes, bananas) and other medicines that may increase potassium levels (potassium-sparing diuretics and potassium supplements) during treatment with this medicine.

Coronary artery diseases

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with coronary artery diseases since it may worsen the patient's condition. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

Impaired liver function

Use of this medicine may rarely cause liver injuries such as jaundice or hepatitis. Close monitoring of liver function is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Use in Children

This medicine is not recommended for use in children since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Driving and Operating machinery

Use of this medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
