How it works
Acebrophylline works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the airways in the lung and windpipe. It also regulates the production and movement of mucus from the windpipe. It also acts on certain substances that cause irritation and swelling of the airways. Acetylcysteine works by reducing the thickness of mucus present in the airways and relieving chest congestion.
