Description
Adp H (12.5/5 mg) Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of Amlodipine and Hydrochlorothiazide. It is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a condition in which the force exerted by blood against the blood vessel walls is high, which increases the risk of heart complications such as heart attack and stroke (damage to the brain due to low blood supply). It relaxes the blood vessels by widening them and promotes smooth blood flow. It also increases the excretion of water and sodium, thus resulting in decreased blood pressure. Adp H (12.5/5 mg) Tablet has some common side effects like swelling in your ankles or feet, dizziness, headache, tiredness, stomach upset etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsens. Adp H (12.5/5 mg) Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor. You should not stop taking Adp H (12.5/5 mg) Tablet without consulting your doctor as it can lead to serious heart conditions. It is also not recommended as initial therapy for high blood pressure. It is best to take this medicine at least 4 hours before going to bed as this medicine increases your frequency of urination.
