Admenta 5 mg Tablet is a medicine that contains Memantine. It is used to treat Alzheimer's disease (a progressive brain disorder that destroys memory and other mental functions). It works by blocking the action of a chemical substance and decreasing abnormal activity in your brain. Thus, Admenta 5 mg Tablet helps to improve your ability to think and remember or delay the loss of these abilities. However, this medicine will not cure Alzheimer's disease. Admenta 5 mg Tablet has some common side effects like confusion, aggression, weight gain, headache, and nausea. These side effects may subside by themselves. However, consult your doctor if they bother you for a long time or worsen. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Admenta 5 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level in your blood. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Take this medicine for the recommended duration for better results. Avoid sudden discontinuation of this medicine as it may lead to relapse of your condition.
