Description
Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet is a combination of Aceclofenac, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase. It is used to relieve pain and swelling in conditions like muscle pain, joint pain, ankylosing spondylitis (a condition causing pain due to fusing of bones in the spine), osteoarthritis (a type of arthritis that causes pain on movement due to wearing of the protective covering at the ends of the bones) and rheumatoid arthritis (a condition where the body's immunity attacks the joints and damages it). Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet shows common side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea. If any of these side effects persist for a long time, consult your doctor. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any components present in this medicine. Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet should be taken with food to avoid any stomach discomfort. The dose and duration will be determined by your doctor based on the condition and how well it relieves your symptoms. Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet may affect or get impacted by other medications that you are taking. Inform your doctor if you have peptic ulcers or any medical conditions of the liver and kidneys before taking this medicine. Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet may increase the side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness and stomach bleeding if taken with alcohol. Hence avoid taking alcohol while you are on this medication. Allergy

Gastrointestinal bleeding

Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet may cause stomach and intestinal bleeding and ulcers. Therefore, it is not recommended for use if you have gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation disorders since it may worsen your condition.

Peptic Ulcer

Chronic Malnutrition

Malnutrition and fasting can increase the risk of Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet overdose. Your doctor will adjust the dose based on your body weight.

Long term use

Use of Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet for more than four weeks is not advised due to the lack of safety and efficacy data for long-term use.

Surgeries

Stop taking Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet at least 10-14 days before a scheduled surgery as it may increase the risk of bleeding during and/or after the procedure.

Driving or Operating machinery

Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet may cause sleepiness or dizziness in some individuals. Avoid driving vehicles and operating heavy machines after taking this medicine.

Missed Dose

Asthma

Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet must be used with caution if you have asthma and if you are sensitive to NSAIDs (pain killers) as this medicine can trigger an asthma attack or cause allergic reactions like skin rashes, itching/swelling on your body, etc.

5-HIAA Urine Test

Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet can interfere with a urine test and may give a false-positive result. Inform your doctor and lab technician about all your current medicines before undergoing any lab test.
Take Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet orally with or after food to avoid stomach irritation Never take more than the prescribed dose. As it causes dizziness and sleepiness, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet affects you. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage. Do not take it with any other medicine containing Paracetamol or any drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold, without asking your doctor first. Take this medicine at around the same time daily. Follow the prescription and do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor. Do not break, crush or chew the tablet in the mouth.

Ace-Proxyvon SP Tablet is a combination of Aceclofenac, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase. Paracetamol helps in reducing the signals responsible for fever and pain. Aceclofenac works by reducing the formation of certain substances in the body that causes pain and swelling. Serratiopeptidase reduces swelling and redness through the breakdown of proteins present at the site of the swelling.
