Description
Abiways Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of Acebrophylline and Acetylcysteine. It is used in the treatment of respiratory conditions like bronchitis (irritation and swelling of the airways of your lungs), asthma (breathing issues due to swelling and narrowing of the windpipe) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (lung disorders due to obstruction of airflow to your lungs) in adults. It works by relaxing the muscles of your air passages thereby making it easier to breathe. Abiways Tablet shows some common side effects like heartburn, fever, nausea, vomiting, rash, irritation and swelling of the nasal passages (pathway from the nose to throat). Consult your doctor if any of these side effects do not resolve or worsen. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Abiways Tablet can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of this medicine based on the type and severity of your medical condition. Take this medicine as directed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor as this could lead to worsening your condition. Abiways Tablet should be used with caution if you have asthma as it may worsen your condition. Inform your doctor of your entire medical history, including medical conditions like liver, kidney, or heart problems before taking this medicine to ensure the safety of this medicine. Abiways Tablet may not be suitable for all people. It is not recommended for children below 18 years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using this medicine. Allergy

This test measures ketone levels in your urine. Abiways Tablet may influence the results of this test. Inform your doctor and lab technician about all your current medicines before undergoing any lab test.
Take Abiways Tablet as advised by your doctor. It is a once-daily medication. Do not take in more or fewer doses than prescribed. Consult your doctor if you experience any undesirable effects after taking it. You should not use this medicine instead of an inhaler for an asthma attack as it is a slow-acting preventative medicine. Your doctor may suggest regular blood tests to monitor your potassium levels. Complete the treatment and do not discontinue using this medicine without consulting your doctor. Avoid smoking and consuming caffeinated products as it may decrease the efficacy of this medicine.

Abiways Tablet is a combination of Acebrophylline and Acetylcysteine. Acebrophylline is a mucolytic and bronchodilator.
