Endocrinology, dermatology, ENT, clinical psychology, radiology, pathology and bone densitometry run alongside, supported by a dedicated anaesthesiology department.The hospital has infection-controlled intensive care units, including an isolation neonatal intensive care unit and a maternal ICU, and a Comprehensive Women and Child Centre bringing maternity, neonatal and paediatric care together.Two services fill gaps that are otherwise poorly covered in the region: podiatric surgery and diabetic foot care, which prevents the amputations that follow untreated foot ulceration in diabetes, and a dedicated infectious disease service.The dialysis centre is fully air conditioned with 32 units, allowing patients on regular dialysis to be scheduled without long waits. I was having high BP when I was 5th month pregnant and I was at Mumbai, My doctor at Mumbai scared me and informed me it would lead to preterm labor and your baby would be kept at NICU. My wife has been his patient for years in Kasaragod, she was initially referred to him by a doctor in Pune and more recently, I have also become his patient.
Dr. Pai has decades of experience in his field. His confidence and efficiency during consultations are extremely reassuring. He doesn’t take time.
