Dr. Naren Shetty

I had zero faith in doctors ; cause every doctor ( have consulted a lot ) I consulted gave me an impression that they study medicine to get a license to rip off patients coming to them and profit from their situation rather than carry out their noble respected titles by caring for patients' health.

This opinion of mine changed drastically when I met Dr. Naren Shetty. My mother was suffering from diabetic related complications ( gangrene ) and other internal issues. I admitted her to an hospital based on a neighborhood doctors recommendation. Right from day one from cutting off the toe which was already dead , the doctor of that hospital was interested only in amputating her leg and to sell his brand of prosthetic leg. He literally had no idea of other issues she was facing and really did not even care about it. My mother was enduring intense suffering due to pharmaceutical company's sponsored drugs he was trying on her. When his sales pitch for prosthetic leg became intense I began looking for someone who really knows about such cases. By grace of divine mother i found Dr. Naren Shetty. I contacted him right away and met him next day at Unity Hospital and explained him the situation to best of my knowledge. I had my mother discharged from the previous hospital and admitted her to Unity hospital under care of Dr. Naren Shetty.

A lot of things changed since then , he took deep interest in my mother's health and he brought in right people to diagnose other issues ( gastroenterologist , nephrologist, and few more ) which she was facing and they as a team began solving all her issues one by one. Initially I thought I would lose my mother ( when in previous hospital) but in few days (2-3 weeks) things began getting better...her health began to improve and she was discharged from the hospital with her leg intact.

Am still taking her everyday to Dr. Shetty for review and dressing and she is way better than before. Dr. Shetty does the wound cleaning and dressing himself which is a very rare quality I have seen in such highly qualified surgeons. Care , commitment and dedication he shows towards patients health is amazing and honestly we need more of such gems.

My mom is now happy..healthy ..eats well ...sleeps well and will soon be walking with her own legs.

If anyone reading this review has any of the complications with regards to diabetic foot or such , or if you know anyone who is suffering from such issues kindly get an opinion from Dr Naren Shetty before it's late. You could save a limb.! and possibly a life too..!

My mom is polycystic patient and was getting treatment **** *** ******* for 18 years. She was suggested to get fistula done in her hand for dialysis when her creatinine level reached 6. Arrangements for fistula surgery in left hand was done by nephrologist ** *** with a concession as some practice for medical students. She got operated and when we went for monthly checkup we were surprised to hear from one of the nephrologist that fistula in left hand is not working we have to go for fistula surgery in right hand now. We were so upset with the tone, ignorance and resolution.

Luckily we were referred to Dr.Naren Shetty by one of my cousin. We consulted him and he examined my Mom, arranged for fistula surgery in right hand. It was success despite complication in my mom's anatomy. Later few months she got overflowing of blood in other veins in which resulted in severe pain in right hand and numbness in righthand; she was not even able to fold her fingers and eat in right hand. She underwent one more surgery for this from Dr. Naren Shetty and with constant medication from him, she has recovered a lot. Now she has a working fistula and she is been able to fold her fingers and eat etc. Earlier my mom used to fall sick every now and then. Now she is so much recovered.

Any health issues in family, he is the first person we consult. He is so good hearted and kind. Even during Covid-19 lockdown, he was regularly provided medication over phone and suggesting any tests and checking reports remotely over phone. Me and my complete family is so much thankful to him.

My mother was suffering from diabetic related foot ulcer since 5 months. She had got a deep wound in her leg. After visiting so many doctor, taking so many medication and some Doctors even suggested to do operation , we came across Dr Naren Shetty.During our first visit he explained very patiently what is it and examined my mother’s wound. (Doctors whom we visited in the past, didn’t even have time to look at the wound)He suggested that no surgery or any procedure would b necessary. He assured that the ulcer would heal by simple dressings, injections and good sugar management. Following treatment we saw the wound had reduced a lot in a week( which didn’t cure since the last 5 months).After treatment the pain has reduced so much. We are really happy at the results.
