Dr. Tarun Gandhi

I met with a severe road accident last year. In the process the main artery of my heart got ruptured from 2 places & i was in a very serious condition. A big hospital of Indore washed off their hands at last moment & gave up on me, infact with such heart injury they suggested my family to get me airlifted & referred for Delhi or Mumbai. But due to air pressure change & my heart injury it wasn't possible. At that time Dr. Tarun Gandhi came in picture. He was like a messenger of God, & nothing less than savior of my life. He performed an extremely complicated surgery for me & placed a special stent on the main artery of my heart & saved my life at that time. The surgery was crucial but before that the procurement of this special & very rare stent for me on time was successfully made by Tarun Sir. May God bless him always & may he saves lives of people like this forever..... He is a very nice soul & so is his father who is also a renowned heart specialist & an extremely experienced and knowledgeable Heart Surgeon who was also a Mentor (senior) Doctor in Australia earlier.

Its a complete package. Right from nice reception, to Doctor examining, then treatment. Doctor has a team of Junior Doctor, Physiotherapists, etc. to help patient. In the hospital where surgery is conducted the whole hospital staff pays extra attention to Dr. Gandhi Patients and follows his instruction to the T i.e. by Duty Doctor, Nursing Staff and even the barber. Dr. Tarun Gandhi made me climb stairs the next day of surgery. Its two months now since I underwent surgery and several post surgery visits to clinic - experience has enhanced after every visit with smile on the face by the team greeting on my arrival. I wish all patients get due treatment from the able hands of Dr. Tarun Gandhi and team.

Doctor was kind and very good in explaining the reason for my problem. His diagnosis was accurate and to the point.

I got my mother operated by Dr Gandhi. My mother is absolutely fine now.

Following incidents were happened -

1) Incident No.-1 : Dr. Gave the appointment of 09:30 AM in Medicare Hospital we have reached their on time, receptionist said that Dr. is yet to be reach, after waiting of around 2-2.5 Hrs. one of the assistant of Dr. named Mr. Ajay came to us and directly blamed us no one was present here so Dr. not came in his cabin just see the surgical patient and he left from here now then we said that ask to your receptionist we were waiting from last 2-2.5 Hrs. here now you are blaming to us. After that we said Dr. called us for test before admitting in hospital so Dr. instead of coming their he was passing his message to us through his assistant that go from here to other places for testing.

2) Incident No.-2 : 2 days ago Dr. said for operation and suggested few tests before the surgery i.e. Blood Test of Rs. 2500/- as said by dr. assistane (But after reaching at hospital test amount was 4000/- in CHL Hospital Indore) for other test he said due to corona disease CHL Hospital will not allow for surgery so Process for CT Scan Test cost of Rs. 3000/- as said by assistant (But actual cost was 4000/- by the hospital) instead of this we did both the tests so that further operation can be performed. After that Dr. Said for 3rd test which was really related to the operation and to be done from his contacted lab only. When we reached for 3rd test Dr. Said patient temperature is high we can not perform this test, we said that we have already done recently blood test and CT Scan test related to Corona but all reports are okay. But they were not accepting even our Dr. Tarun Gandhi also said for Covid-19 Test, Instead of this We went for Covid-19 Test which cost was Rs. 4500/-, this report was again normal then Dr. Tarun Gandhi agreed for Operation in next morning but in night again his assistant Mr. Ajay called me and said that One of our OT patient found corona positive so for 15 Days no surgery could be performed in hospital. I called to Hospital they said surgery are allowed no issue it might be the personal issue of Mr. Tarun Gandhi if do not want to perform surgery. When I called to Doctor that Surgery are allowed in hospital then why are you not performing it and why you have suggested us for these much tests of amounting Rs. 20,000/- will you accept these reports later he refused to accept it......now tell me who will bear the cost of Rs. 20,000/-, if you do not want to operate the patient in such a corona virus situation why you have not refused on the first day itself.

Note: If you replied that for the sack of me and my family you have not performed the surgery so my humble request is that why you have not said no for operation at the time of first meeting in corona situation.

Took appointment for 10.45 , reached 15 min before , was told its doctors surgery day and will come by 11, after that 7 patients are already waiting . No use of giving appointment when the patient has to wait 1-2 hrs. Patients time has value too specially if he is working.

I will prefer a doctor that gives first priority to his patients than MR, CA or his phone from someone that charges 1000 Rs. i took an appointment but still ended up waiting for more than an hour. the receptionist and the doctor was attending personal phone calls for most of the period. when I asked the receptionist for the reason for the delay in my seeing the doctor, he said you Know it's July and CA took 30-45 mins of doctors time and he is already late for a surgery. since the doctor was already late I got less than 5 minutes of his time after waiting for more than an hour. for me it was a very unprofessional experience

Nicely explained . Surgery has done wonders for me. I am able to walk 4-5 km with out any pain.

Best vascular surgeon , I have met so far. Before consulting Dr Gandhi, I consulted vascular surgeons in Medanta, Delhi and Kokilaben, Mumbai. But none of them stands in comparison to Dr Gandhi. He is very humble and hard working, and really dedicated to his patients
