Dr. Pranav Ghodgaonkar

I was suffering from extreme lower back pain shooting down to the left leg. The pain worsened by the day and turned into numbness followed by slight loss of movement in the left foot and a tight bowel movement. We were advised to see Dr Pranav by a friend who is also a sports trainer. We had an MRI done and saw Dr.Pranav at Anaya clinic, Indore immediately. Dr.Pranav was really patient in understanding the problem and spent a good amount of time in reviewing the case history. He did a thorough examination of the foot and the reports. He clearly explained to us that the L5-S1 disc is protruding out to a large extent and is compressing the spinal nerves which is causing these symptoms. He further advised for immediate surgery(endoscopic discectomy) to decompress the nerves the very next morning. He was really patient while my wife made some calls from his cabin to inform our family on the immediate plan for surgery. We contacted Dr.Khushbu (Dr.Pranav's assistant) at CHL hospital for our admission timing and arrangements. She was very prompt and helpful. We got admitted the next day and the surgery was performed after initial diagnostic tests as per the prescribed procedure. Dr. Pranav and team conducted a successful operation and a large chunk of the protruding disc was removed. I was conscious in half and hour post operation and was able to stand the very next day. The nursing and support staff at CHL were very helpful and jovial which removed any post operative strain. During the two days post operative stay at the hospital Dr Pranav, Dr Khushbu and other doctors were constantly monitoring my condition. I was able to walk with support the day after and I was discharged the very next day. My back pain is gone and I am currently undergoing physiotherapy to have my strength back in the left foot under the guidance of Dr.Pranav. Dr.Khushbu was really prompt in answering our post operative queries even after discharge and reaching home. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Dr.Pranav is the best spine and neurosurgeon in Indore and I feel lucky to have been operated by him. I am rest assured that under his guidance i will not only recover but will immerge stronger than before. A big thanks to Dr.Pranav and his team.

Pranav Sir is a Fantastic Docter I must say. Because of his nature and the way he made my father comfortable that was really appreciable but the staff in CHL was really very impolite . I wanted to talk to them regarding cashless claim settelment proceedure but they were in hurry to Admit My father. I asked them to give me some time atleast to bring some clothes from my home to stay in hospital but the person in staff was so eager to admit my father that he couldnt even gave us a second to think. Neither to bring clothes nor to take Lunch. He was like "Aap admit ho jao main yahi khana khila dunga". My father was like "ki ye log baat bhi nahi kar rahe hai, bas yaha jao wahan jao" person on casulty ward made a yellow receipt and asked me to submit money on counter, on cash counter also I asked him about mediclaim but he said, I cant give you any information, I only know that if you brought this yellow receipt to me, I have to take money from you. That was the Attitude I didnt like. *** **** ***** **** ****** ****** *** ****** Patients Satisfaction was the least important thing for them. And thats the Only thing that made me think once again before getting admitted in CHL. And I decided to Leave the Hospital. Though the Docter Pranav Sir was really very good but the Surroundings made me Disappointed. And I decided not to have surgery in CHL. Hope CHL management will take it in their consideration.

We were very tensed when we first visited his clinic as my mother's situation was not very well and we did not have any clue as how to tackle the situation. But thanks to Dr. Pranav to make the path to surgery and recovery a smooth one. He is very friendly, caring and his professional skills are simply great. It was a very bad experience with Dr. Pranav and Dr. Vinod Rai. My father has polio in his right leg and his left leg was not moving. Dr. Vinod Rai recommended Dr. Pranav Ghodgaonkar for surgery. Dr. Pranav did surgery for L4-l5 spine compression, next day itself the right leg was totally numb then too the hospital staff and Dr.Pranav didn't care! It was a great experience with Doctor Pranav. He is very friendly and calm with the patient. He answered all my queries with patience. A complex surgery was made to look vary easy and it was conducted in a perfect manner. My wife seems to be OK on the second day of the surgery. Seeing Doctor Pranav itself makes the patient and his family comfortable. It seems that you are in safe hands. I highly recommend Dr. Pranav.

Earlier I was not even able to stand still for 5 minutes straight but after the operation within 2 days I was able to walk for 5-10 mins without any problem and today after 20-25 days I am able to walk about 1km without any pain.
