Dr Nayan Gupta is a young and dynamic Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Shalby Hospital , Indore. He did his schooling from The Daly College , Indore . He did his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore , Manipal University and after that , went on to pursue MS in General Surgery from BJ Medical College, Civil hospital, Ahmedabad and then did his super specialisation ( Mch ) in Surgical Oncology from M.P. Shah Cancer hospital ,GCRI, Ahmedabad which is a 650 bedded Regional Cancer Centre.Thereafter , he underwent advanced training in head and neck oncology at Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam ,Netherlands. He also went on to pursue further training in Endoscopic and Open Thyroid surgery at National Hospital Of Endocrinology , Hanoi ,Vietnam . His Interest in Research in the field of cancer surgery also led him to get the Prestigious “ Asia Pacific Clinical Oncology Research and Development “ ( ACORD ) Fellowship which was held at Sydney , Australia.After having completed his residency in Surgical Oncology from GCRI, Ahmedabad, he has worked as consultant cancer surgeon at Shankus Medicity , Mehsana ,Gujarat which helped him gain further exposure in the field of head and neck oncology. He is really passionate about head and neck surgeries : thyroid ,parathyroid, laryngeal preservation surgeries , ITF clearance for advanced jaw tumors and Redo tumor resections , Cranio-facial resection for skull base tumors . His other areas of expertise include breast cancers , gynaecologic cancers , GI cancers, Hepato-biliary cancers , cancers of the extremities.Dr Gupta has won many awards for best paper and poster presentation at both national and international platforms. He has delivered invited lectures, moderated sessions, participated in panel discussions and did Surgical demonstrations at reputed National and International Conferences.
