Dr AMIT SOLANKI has been in ophthalmic field for more than 21 years. He hasdone his undergraduate training (MBBS) followed by further postgraduate training (MS)from the reputed B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad (Gujarat). The desire to excel and toenrich with latest surgical expertise made him move to most southern part of India,where he completed his two years of Senior Residency at renowned Aravind EyeHospital, Tamilnadu; during the same tenure he was awarded the Diplomat of NationalBoard in Ophthalmology (DNB) by the National Board Of Examinations, New Delhi.He has also done his LASIK LASER surgical training from Vadodara, Gujarat. Hisinterest in Glaucoma and Micro Cataract Surgery; earned him prestigious specialSurgical training (super specialty fellowship training) in Glaucoma & Advanced PhacoCataract Surgery at Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore; there he got an opportunity towork with cutting edge technologies and learn about advanced phaco cataract surgeryand glaucoma diagnostics & management.He has also been invited as an International Guest Faculty by by WorldGlaucoma Congress at Kualalumpur, Malaysia and Asia Australia Congress at Thailandand He regularly enriches his experience by visiting several centers across the country.Dr. Solanki has delivered various scientific talks being a guest faculty at manynational conferences and has also presented his work and received many awards.
