Many People told me, that since I’ve given birth via a csec once, a normal delivery in future won’t be possible. I wasn’t convinced, and kept searching, and then I came across the term VBAC - vaginal birth after c-sec. I searched a lot, but not many were aware or keen about progressing with VBAC, because of the so called risks involved.

I was referred to Dr. Aastha by a friend of mine, and I have thanked my friend wholeheartedly for the excellent recommendation after the birth of my daughter three months back.

Dr. Aastha can be defined in one word. She’s a believer. She oozes positivity all the time and filled me with new enthusiasm after each visit. Unlike others, who kept exclaiming with a, “what took you so long to plan the second child”, She kept saying,

“Since it has been a long time, we will treat this as a completely new pregnancy” - what a refreshing approach! She said the chances of a normal delivery is 75%. And kept saying this repeatedly. If I at all said, I’m mentally prepared for both outcomes, she used to say, “yeah, but we will give a full shot attempt!” She kept insisting on regular walks and breathing exercises, which helped a lot.

My daughter birth was a normal delivery, a VBAC, and a huge chunk of the credit goes to Dr. Aastha. She was a constant source of hopefulness. Even when I was in labor, her words - “doing exercises with this ball will reduce the perception of pain”, helped me immensely to manage the excruciating pain. Finally, it was her promise of, “give me 20 good pushes and we will get your baby”, that kept me going and I delivered a healthy, adorable baby without an epidural.

Dr. Aastha took the 75% probability of VBAC and adamantly made it a reality which filled my family with 100% joy. The euphoria of this success has stayed with us since, and We feel deep gratitude towards her. May god bless her, and gives her huge success she clearly deserves.

From planning to post delivery, she made the entire journey so comfortable. She was there when we were anxious and patiently answered plethora of questions asked by us.

I would also like to highlight her support during this pandemic. She made sure that I didn’t miss any consultation. We did video calls to avoid unnecessary visits to the hospital. Her calmness helped me stay positive during these times when its so easy to get a negative mindset.
