Recently visited Dr Manish Ladhania at BCM Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Indore for consulting for mothers ankle sprain.

I had called hospital and took an appointment for 4.30 PM. Staff confirmed availability of Dr and said he would be available for consulting in OPD during 4-5 PM today.

I had reached well in time at the hospital. I needed a wheel chair which was readily available outside at the main entrance itself. Hospital has recently commenced operations so was relatively less crowded as well.

I reached reception and asked for orthopedic OPD, they guided me towards second floor. I reached second floor's reception and got OPD billing done. They took her vitals and updated the file. Asked me to proceed towards desired room number for consultation where I met Dr Manish.

Dr Manish inspected mother's problem thoroughly. Listened to how it happened and the aftermath very peacefully. Confidence reflected on Doctor's face. He first of all comforted mother not to worry at all who was totally panicked. He said you will be walking as good as before in 2-3 weeks. It is a ligament tear. He suggested several exercises to be done by self. Also advised physiotherapy. Considering the pain my mother had, we were afraid it is a fracture, requested Dr for an X ray investigation. Dr said I am 100% confident that we do not need an x ray, it is my daily job. (Good to see ethical practitioners who avoid unwanted investigations saving the burden to patient). It is almost a week now and mom feels almost as good as before now.

Doctor even spared some time and suggested my mother some dietary changes which would help her lead a better lifestyle over long run.

Firstly, I visited him for my Hip Joint problem. He directly gone to the conclusion for core decompression. I asked him is there any medicine that can cure it or delay my AVN problem. He said - why are you repeating same thing ? The only solution is only surgery. Do you have a claim ? Doctor is very good he advise me perfectly not any impose surgery he advise me only for physiotherapy.
