Dr Ignatius Fernandes is a second-generation dentist. An Orthodontist, with a focused interest in aligners, braces, and cosmetic smile transformations. My approach to orthodontics goes beyond straightening teeth—He aims to enhance facial harmony, function, and long-term confidence through carefully planned, personalized treatment.He completed my BDS and MDS in Orthodontics from SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Dharwad, graduating with flying colours. He is registered with both the Karnataka State Dental Council and the Goa State Dental Council, and I practice with a strong emphasis on ethics, precision, and patient safety.He is a life member of the Indian Dental Association and the Indian Orthodontic Society. Continuous learning is important to me, and regularly attend advanced courses, workshops, and training programs to stay updated with evolving orthodontic and cosmetic techniques.He is an authorized provider of internationally trusted aligner systems such as Invisalign and Spark Aligners. In addition, He designs and manufactures custom aligners in-house, which allows me greater control over treatment planning, precision, and customization for each patient. Over the years, He have treated a wide range of orthodontic and aligner cases, refining my skills through both experience and advanced training.His expertise also extends to cosmetic dental treatments, including smile designing, complete smile makeovers, lip lengthening procedures, teeth whitening, teeth jewellery, and planning cosmetic transformation surgeries. He works with all types of orthodontic braces, from traditional metal braces to tooth-coloured and ceramic braces, Damon self-ligating systems, Pitts 21 Pro, lingual braces, and invisible brace systems.Clear communication and the intelligent use of technology are central to my practice.
