Recently, I got my orthodontic treatment completed under the supervision of Dr. Trisha Ghosh at the Apollo Clinic, Howrah. The treatment utilized the latest Damon Q2 self-ligating brackets. Despite my initial concerns regarding the clinical timeline and predictable outcomes, the process was managed very efficiently. The treatment involved tooth extraction and regular adjustment and tightening of wires. which were executed seamlessly by the doctor, with minimal discomfort experienced. I agreed for that amount and they asked me to pay 10,000 in advance and later pay rest amount month wise. I was carefree as I though that the end to end treatment will be covered in the package and I started paying her 4,000 every month. But she started charging extra apart from the package amount they mentioned. she sent me over to another dentist friend in the same clinic and charged me extra money for 4 of my tooth extraction. I resented but then the doctor and helper forced me hence I had to give that money too. But when one of my ceramic brackets broke she started asking money, 200 rupees for each broken bracket which was not included in the package amount I had to pay. This went a long way in assuring my sister that she had went to the correct doctor to get her teeth corrected.
