She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics from the Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences.Dr. Nilormi Karmakar currently practices at Rejuvena Skin and Dental Care in Shibpur, Howrah, where she serves as the head of the clinic. She is also the co-founder of Cure 32 – An Advanced Dental Clinic in Belur and The Dental Clinic Newtown, Kolkata.
