Dr. Rajat Maheshwari had done MBBS, MS is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist at Eye 7 Lajpat Nagar & Director of Maheshwari Eye Center, Muzaffarnagar. He specializes in LASIK, Cataract & Glaucoma.. After completing his Fellowship in Glaucoma & Anterior Segment Services at the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, he was in charge of Glaucoma services at Venu Eye Institute, New Delhi. Thereafter, he underwent a clinical preceptorship in Non-penetrating glaucoma surgeries (NPGS) at Stanford Eye Center, California, USA.He also had the opportunity to work with world renowned Phaco Surgeon, Dr. David F Chang & pick up advanced phaco techniques from him. He has many publications in peer-reviewed journals to his credit & has presented widely in national & international conferences.LASIK (Specs removal surgery), Contoura Vision, Bladeless Femto LASIK are one of his main career interests.Managing difficult glaucoma’s & combined cataract glaucoma surgery are his primary career interests. He has vast experience in managing post corneal transplant & post retinal surgery glaucoma patients.He likes to sing & also plays keyboard. Travelling & Scuba diving are his other interests. He is PADI certified open water scuba diver.
