Dr Nitin Jha has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship , FACS ---FELLOWSHIP of AMERICAN COLLEGE of SURGEONS. This is in recognition of his abilities in surgery.Dr. Nitin Jha is Presently DIRECTOR & HEAD of UNIT in the Dept. of Robotic , Laparoscopic, G.I, and Bariatric surgery at Fortis Group of Hospitals at Noida, Delhi-NCR, India. His work involves all sorts of basic as well as advanced laparoscopic surgeries including G.I, Colorectal and Bariatric surgeries and General Surgeries.He has presented his technique of SILS --Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery at prestigious International Conferences in Europe (Frankfurt, Germany, EAES conference) and in America (SAGES Conference at Boston, USA)He has a personal experience of more than 10000 different types of basic as well as advanced surgeries including Gall bladders, Appendectomies, Hernia surgeries (ventral as well as inguinal), Achalasia Cardia Surgery, Lap Fundoplication and all types of Reflux surgeries, Colorectal surgeries including Right Hemicolectomy, Left Hemicolectomy, APR, AR, Rectopexies. He has a good experience in Bariatric surgeries also.Has the good fortune of operating upon quite a few important Indian personalities including a former Indian Cricket Team Member.
