Dr. Sanjay Kumar Gupta says "I am a urologist and kidney transplant surgeon for the last 21 years with overall 36 years' experience in the profession. I did my DNB in Urology from the prestigious Army Hospital R&R Delhi and served in the army for 35 years working in the prestigious institutions like Army Hospital R&R, various Command Hospitals, and AFMC Pune. My training and rich experience at the Army Hospital (R&R) and other centers, has equipped me with extensive skills in Endourology, Laparoscopic surgery, female and pediatric urology, reconstructive urology, uro-oncology and Renal transplantation.My areas of expertise include URS, PCNL’s, RIRS, for stone diseases, TURP, TURBT, Laser procedures for prostate, radical surgeries for cancer, reconstructive, Laparoscopic and open procedures, male infertility, impotence management etc. As a transplant surgeon, I have an experience of over 500 Live Renal Transplants and 30 Deceased Donor Transplants at Army Hospital(R&R) Delhi, and various Command Hospitals.I have been a teacher in Urology at Army Hospital R&R, Delhi for 8 years and guided students in their thesis for DNB (Urology) & DNB (Gen. Surgery).I served as a Professor of surgery under the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) while at the Command Hospital (SC) Pune, teaching students at AFMC Pune from 2013 to 2015.I have Over 30 papers/presentations in National/international journals and conferences, 02 completed Urology Research Projects for Armed Forces and 02 book chapters.I have been awarded the Chief of Army Staff Commendation for exemplary Professional work and the GOC-in-C Eastern Command Commendation for exemplary contribution to Urology & Renal Transplantation.My motto is to listen to my patients, and provide them the best possible treatment and care with compassion."
