Civil Hospital Shillong, Nongmynsong

Civil Hospital Shillong is a government hospital at Barik Point in Shillong, Meghalaya, serving patients from across the East Khasi Hills district and the surrounding areas of the state.As a state civil hospital it provides outpatient consultation, investigation and inpatient treatment at government rates, and functions as one of the main public referral points for patients travelling in from the rural blocks of the district, where specialist care is otherwise limited.Outpatient registration runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The hospital is located at Barik Point, Shillong, in the central part of the city close to the Secretariat and the main administrative offices. It is reachable from Police Bazar, Laitumkhrah, Nongthymmai and Mawlai, and by road from Jowai, Nongstoin and the Guwahati highway.
