Dr. Yomna Sayed (Physiotherapist)

Ms. Yomna Sayed is a Physiotherapist at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Sharjah, followed by an MSc in General Physiotherapy and a Diploma in Team Sports Injuries. She further qualified herself with several Certifications, including one in Dry Needling from the International Academy of Orthopaedic Medicine (IAOM), in Kinesio Taping and Kinetic Flossing, in Dry Cupping (Manual & Dynamic) and in instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation (ISTM).Ms. Sayed began her career as an Intern in Physiotherapy, first at Dubai Physiotherapy and Rehab Centre, then moved on to Bonex Klinik Orthopaedic and Spine, followed by Zulekha Hospital. Subsequently, she started working as a full-fledged Physiotherapist with Bonex Klinik Orthopaedic and Spine. Later, she joined Delta Plus Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic and continued working part-time as a Medical Sales Representative with Smart Rehab & Sports LLC.Ms. Sayed’s expertise covers the entire gamut of musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injury prevention and treatment, post-operative rehabilitation and neuromuscular re-education. She uses manual therapy techniques, dry needling, exercise therapy and strength conditioning as well as lymphatic drainage. She treats conditions like TMJ disorders, cervicalgia, sciatica or herniated disc, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injuries, Tennis elbow/Golfer's elbow, knee osteoarthritis, Achilles tendinopathy, postural disorders (kyphosis/scoliosis) and ACL rehabilitation.
