Ms. Huda Jaghlit

Huda Jaghlit is an American-trained occupational therapist who earned her degree from James Madison University in 2004 and brings over two decades of experience to her practice. She is fluent in both English and Arabic, allowing her to serve a diverse patient population with empathy and clear communication. Throughout her career, Huda has been committed to empowering patients and caregivers through education and training, always with the goal of fostering independence and enhancing functional outcomes.Having spent over 13 years in outpatient pediatric settings, Huda has provided specialized care for children with a wide range of developmental and neurobehavioral conditions, including ADD/ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, autism spectrum disorders (including Asperger’s), Down syndrome, pervasive developmental disorders, and developmental delays. She has also dedicated 8 years to adult rehabilitation in hospital environments, addressing needs in orthopedic recovery, trauma rehabilitation, stroke recovery, critical care, and general medical care.In addition to her clinical experience, Huda holds certifications in Functional Independence Measure (FIM), CPR, and a variety of therapeutic modalities such as transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), diathermy, ultrasound, paraffin wax, and hot and cold pack therapies. Her commitment to holistic health is underscored by her fitness credentials: she is a certified personal trainer and holds a Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from NASM. Through integrating physical fitness with therapeutic strategies, Huda fosters both mental and physical well-being in her clients.
