
BSc (Physio) Honours
Marion obtained her Bsc(Physio) Honours degree in 2005 from the University of The Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has predominantly worked in private practice both in an out-patient and hospital setting in South Africa, gaining a wealth of knowledge and hands on skills from those around her. She also successfully ran her own practice within a multidisciplinary setting in Johannesburg for many years before relocating with her family to Dubai in 2018. Her post graduate qualifications include Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT1) and Sports Physiotherapy (SPT1), which are internationally recognised one year postgraduate diplomas focusing on improving therapists clinical reasoning, assessment and treatment skills for patients with neuromuscularskeletal pain and dysfunction. Another special interest of Marion’s is the treatment of paediatric bladder and bowel dysfunction, including day and night time wetting for children, incontinence, functional constipation and the problems that surround these issues.Marion is an enthusiastic and passionate physiotherapist that enjoys working within a multidisciplinary team. She is dedicated to giving the best possible care to her patients, and enjoys treating a variety of injuries including musculoskeletal, spinal and sports injuries and the rehabilitation for these conditions.
