Ms. Karen Al Gholam

"Certified by the International Behavior Analysis Organization (IBAO), Karen has over 10 years of experience in the field. She holds a Bachelor degree in Education with an emphasis on Learning Difficulties from Notre Dame University, Lebanon. Karen’s career began in Lebanon, where she worked with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities. As an ABA Therapist at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) Special Kids Clinic, she conducted behavioral assessments, developed individualized treatment plans, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams. She also played a key role in running sessions across schools, homes, and clinics to ensure consistency in interventions. From 2021 to 2025, Karen worked at the Carbone Clinic, Dubai, where she advanced from an ABA therapist to a supervisory role. In her current supervisory role at Neam Clinic she is responsible for overseeing assessments, designing and managing individualized treatment programs, creating behavior reduction plans, training therapists as well as parents, and ensuring best practices in ABA utilizing B.F. Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior to provide evidence-based instruction to a variety of children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities."
