Dr. Amit Kaul specializes in Advance Laparoscopic - General & Bariatric Surgery. His current practice is spread across Medcare clinics & hospital. He has been awarded the Fellowship in Bariatric, Advanced Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgery by the University of Arizona, USA. He has also received the ECFMG certification from Philadelphia, USA.Dr. Kaul has worked in the USA and UAE. He has been a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University and a Fellow Doctor at the University of Arizona, USA. Before joining Medcare, he helped establish the Bariatric Surgery practice, and headed the department at reputed hospitals in the UAE. He has published and presented his work at numerous world renowned national and international conferences.Dr. Amit Kaul has been a member of a number of professional medical associations related to his area of work. Prominent amongst these are the American Medical Association (AMA), Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), the Emirates Society of Laparo-endoscopic Surgeons (ESLS), and the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (ASI).Dr. Kaul is an expert at bariatric surgery with different techniques such as laparoscopic sleeve & gastric bypass surgery. His core strength is performing advanced laparoscopic surgeries – like gastric anti-reflux surgery, hernia surgery, gall-bladder & bile-duct surgery, small intestine and colon surgery.
