Dr. Yaser Habrawi

Dr. Yaser Habrawi has a rich experience of 30 years, spanning across leading hospitals in Syria and UAE. His areas of special interests include anterior segment surgery i.e., phacoemulsification, excimer laser, keratoplasties (penetrating and lamellar), phakic IOLs. Also, non-diabetic vitrectomies i.e dropped nuclei, vitreous hemorrhage, total and subtotal RD vitrectomies with air-fluid exchange and silicone oil.In UAE, he got first associated with a private clinic, thereafter moving to organizations like Al Garhoud Private Hospital, Al Zahra Hospital, Clemenceau Medical Center, and more.He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, since 2001; Fellow of the royal college of physician and surgeons of Glasgow 2019, Examiner at the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow, since 2013; and holds many more prestigious positions.Dr. Habrawi is also a regular speaker at the Syrian Ophthalmological Society for the past 15 years, he has given several lectures at Regional Ophthalmology Meetings and numerous lectures at PACO and MEACO.
