Dr. Waleed Al Jelawi

Dr Waleed Al-Jelawi is an expert German Board-Certified Consultant in Internal Medicine with over 3 decades of clinical experience. He graduated from the University of Mosul Medical College in 1991.In 1998, he moved to Germany and worked till 2019 in various hospitals in West Germany. In 2005, he obtained his German Board certification in Internal Medicine (Facharzt für Innere Medizin) from the North Rhine Medical Council in Düsseldorf, Germany.Since 2009, he has served as a Consultant in Internal Medicine in Germany, followed by senior clinical roles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Before joining King’s College Hospital London – Dubai, his most recent position was at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Abu Dhabi.Dr Waleed Al-Jelawi specializes in the management of complex and challenging medical cases across Internal Medicine and its subspecialties. He is strongly committed to continuous professional development and consistently practices evidence-based medicine.In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Al-Jelawi has a strong academic background and has actively contributed to medical education through faculty and academic assignments. He is a member of the German Society for Internal Medicine (DGIM) and the German Hypertension League.
