Dr. Vaibhav Arunrao Gorde is a Specialist Urologist at Medcare Hospital. He completed his MBBS from Pune in India and an MS in General Surgery from New Delhi. He is a Diplomate of the National Board in Urology from New Delhi, India and holds a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from France. Dr. Gorde is a life member of the West-Zone Urological Society of India chapter. He is a member of the Emirates Medical Association (EMA) and the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI).After completing his education, Dr. Gorde spent some time working at various hospitals in India as a Specialist Urologist before relocating to the UAE. Notable among the hospitals where he worked as a Specialist Urologist have been the Ahalia Hospital in Abu Dhabi and Burjeel Hospital in Sharjah. He is skilled in the treatment of urinary stone diseases, performing endoscopic surgeries- PCNL, laser surgeries, cystoscopy, ESWL (Shock wave treatment for stone diseases) and retrograde intrarenal surgeries (RIRS) for difficult renal stones.Dr. Gorde is proficient at treating benign, non-cancerous prostate enlargement with minimally invasive prostate surgery (UroLift, REZUM, Holep), endoscopic surgeries like TURP, laparoscopic procedures and open surgeries.
