He spent the initial years of his career, working as a lecturer at St. Johns Medical College, Bangalore Emergency Medicine Department and as a consultant physician at St. Thomas Hospital, Chethipuzha. He was Consultant Physician and Intensivist at the Baptist Hospital, Bangalore, before essaying the role of Consultant Physician and Intensivist at Lourdes Hospital, Cochin. He was the Head of the Critical Care Department and in charge of the Medical Intensive care unit during this time. He then moved to the UAE and was associated with Zulekha Hospital Dubai from 2013-2023.
