Dr. Tina Rokadia is an American-trained Prosthodontist with 18 years of experience in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.She earned a master’s degree in Prosthodontics from Boston University (BUIDRE), a BDS from Nair Hospital Dental College in Mumbai in 2006, and has been practicing in Dubai since 2008.Dr. Tina is a passionate advocate for holistic dental care. In 2020, she pursued further education in Airway and Sleep Dentistry, becoming one of the first dentists in the UAE to explore the link between compromised airways and overall health. Through hundreds of hours of continuing education from the US, she now offers these treatments to patients of all ages in Dubai.She is a Vivos integrated provider, as well as a member of and qualified by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). She is professionally trained and qualified to treat patients with sleep-disordered breathing (SDB).Additionally, Dr. Tina is a Breathe Institute Ambassador, trained by Dr. Soroush Zaghi in Los Angeles, in the diagnosis and treatment of tongue-ties and other tethered oral tissues. She follows their functional frenuloplasty techniques in combination with myofunctional therapy to address these concerns.She believes that the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing requires a multi-disciplinary approach, involving airway-focused ENTs, orthodontists, cranio-sacral osteopaths, myofunctional therapists, Buteyko breathing experts, all led by an airway-focused dentist.
