Dr. Tarek Alkhouri

Dr. Tarek Alkhouri is a Specialist in the Department of Oncology at the Medcare Hospital, Al Safa. After graduating in medicine from the well-known Aleppo University, he completed his MD in medical oncology from Damascus University, both in Syria. He is a member of the American Association of Clinical Oncology (established by the ASCO) and the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO).Dr. Alkhouri commenced his career as a Medical Oncologist at Albeirouni University Hospital in Syria and has since worked at various renowned hospitals in Dubai. He served as a Medical Oncologist in one of the leading hospitals in Dubai and held the position of Chief Medical Oncologist at the Advanced Care Oncology Center also in Dubai. With more than a decade of experience as a Medical Oncologist, Dr. Alkhouri is skilled in the treatment and diagnosis of solid tumours and haematologic malignancies in adolescents and adults. He is an expert in procedures like immunotherapy, biological therapy, and cancer screening and prevention. Dr. Alkhouri has successfully treated cancers of all types like lung cancer, skin cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer and blood cancers. He has also diagnosed and treated genitourinary (GU) malignancies, gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies, head and neck malignancies, lymphomas, brain tumours and sarcomas.He speaks Arabic and English fluently.
